A new, modern cabin located just off the C&O Canal, across the river from Harpers Ferry, WV.

Just 90 minutes from Washington, DC, the C&O Abode is a custom-built, modern cabin completed in late 2023. Designed with family getaways in mind and located minutes to historic Harpers Ferry and Shepherdstown, the Abode sits on just under 5 quiet, private acres off the C&O Canal Towpath. Explore nearby historic Civil War battlefields, hike the Appalachian Trail and other hiking routes to beautiful views. Bike the towpath, river tube on the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers and visit local wineries and breweries. An elevated kids’ playhouse on the property provides endless entertainment for the little ones. Stocked with amenities and children's gear and toys to make your stay easy, we hope the C&O Abode will feel like home to all who visit seeking quiet, respite, connection, nature, restoration or whatever they need for themselves, their families and friends.
